About Me.

I am a results driven engineering leader who believes in investing in relationships to drive exceptional outcomes. Currently I am the Director responsible for the open source Spring team at Broadcom. Spring is the leading open source Java framework with industry analysts estimating approximately 65% of the Java market uses Spring.

Beyond my current role, I am a Java Champion, speaker, author, and software engineer with over 21 years of enterprise development experience. During my tenure with the Spring team over the past 12 years, I have had the privilege of serving as the lead of Spring Batch (the defacto standard for batch processing on the JVM), founded the Spring Cloud Task project, and was a major contributor to Spring Cloud Data Flow. I have spoken internationally on topics including Java, Spring, and open source. I have written two books and an a regular member of the OffHeap podcast.
